Exactly. You and I have similar beliefs and theory of use for our firearms. I will put at least 200 through this repaired one before I will even consider using it and if I don't use it in a rotation then I don't need it and it will go away. All of my pistols get shot at least monthly and are in some type of role and rotation.

Oh I certainly will. I have not heard anything from them at this point. I know the other one was an easy fix in that they just knew they had to replace the frame and did. I'd imagine it will take a bit longer this time because they will have to make sure that it actually works before sending it back. If it's not this week then I won't be able to report until after next week since I'll be away for Gunnery at Ft. Pickett.

Best of Luck with your MK.
Hate to hear of folks having problems.
My MK40 Elite was tight as hell new.
Had trouble disassembling/assembling.
Plus it was a jam o matic with FMJs for the first 100 rounds.
Second 100 got better, but still not good
Finally the next 100 started to smooth out.
Switched to JHP and had only a few FTF with the next 100.
400 rounds down the pipe and the gun turned golden
Now 1,500+ rounds with ZERO FTF/FTE/FTRTB with 135,155,165.180 grain JHPs
Mine prefers 180 gr for accuracy.

I wish you luck friend.

Well, I pick it up today Barth so yes, luck to me. I hope that they really fixed it. I'll report what the sheet from them says. I should note that the gun operated fine before my frame cracked and was replaced. Now it doesn't function. Hopefully they tweaked whatever the issue was and now it will be good-to-go! Like you said, a couple hundred of range ammo and a hundred of carry ammo and I'll be happy. However, even a single malfunction after 100 rounds and I think I'll have to say good bye to the MK series. Stay tuned.

Redstate,
Nope. My wife just texted me a picture that they delivered it to the house (thank god she's home with the kids for a snow day) and she signed for it. I'll check the sheet of paper in it and let you guys know what it says they fixed. I won't get home till around 1700 or so today.
CPT,
I'll tell you what. If this one does not work, I will be getting a brand new pistol!

Doubtful they will say much on what they did. They are generally pretty generic and just hit the high points.
Hopefully it just works without issue.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

The frustrating part for them and I've contacted them in the past is the vast majority of the guns they receive for issues work fine for them. They shoot it and it does everything they want it to do. This is why it's so important to give them all the information you possibly can regarding your issues.
Nobody likes to hear it but often times it's shooter error, poor grip, weak ammo, any number of things that they can't control.
There are those of course who will say I never have those issues with my Glock or my Sig or my 47 Whizz banger and this should be no different. Well in fact it is different. For some perhaps the Kahr just won't work and that's ok.
I'll be accused of working for Kahr. I don't. Never did and most likely never will unless they open a place this side of the Mississippi. But they really do want your gun to run. If folks lose faith (understandable) and give up, then good luck with whatever comes next. I try to stick with the half full glass and predict things will work fine. If not we'll have to drop back and reevaluate.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
