I like that. I used the same thing to try and kill some armadillos that were tearing up my yard at night.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

If I have little time then a Springfield XD SC 9mm w/ Insight X2LED and 13+1 mag. If I have a few extra seconds the BCM comes out to play.

If time allows I will always choose the carbine over the shotty or pistol for a fight, for so many reasons...

I keep a Beretta .40 Cougar in the nightstand, along with whatever gun I was packing that day either a Kahr or the Boberg, behind the bedroom door is my 20 guage 870 youth model with #4 shot, under a pillow on my bed is my .44 snubbie, and an AK is on the other side the the bed. Plus my Blue Heeler pup that barks up a storm at anything unusual.

          Springfield Armory 1911
          Dan Wesson Revolver

HY*NDAI is to cars, what Caracal, Hi-Point, and Jennings is to handguns. The cars may or may not run ok, but the corporation SUCKS.

Bedside gun is s&W E series 1911 with streamlight tlr 3 loaded with speer gold dot 200 grain +p...CM9 with cor bon dpx as my reload...
I have been told I have OCD but I call it CDO because the letters have to be in strict alphabetical order...

Something went bump in the night, my dog went crazy about 5 in the morning. I grabed the Beretta and investigated, but it was probably a raccoon or 'possum.

At the foot of the bed is a yellow lab and a lab border collie mix (that I am not sure ever sleeps). Next to the bed is a Mossy 500 with buckshot and in the bedside table a S&W Sigma SW9VE. Of course they need to get by the big boa in the living room before they get to the bedroom.

Rat terrier who's worthless (but loud) to sound the alarm and CZ 75C to deter any malicious "bumps."

That boa and I are already cross ways. If I broke into a house and saw one of them, you'd hear a school girl scream, followed by me either running, or unloading whatever I have. I just don't do snakes.
Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

My point exactly. Actually Dixie is very gentle and has never shot anyone; or bit anyone for that matter. I have had her since she was two days old and she is currently over twenty years old. However, she is imposing and being in the livingroom every service person who comes into the house sees her -- word gets around. She may be the best insurance policy I could have.

I am guessing here, but I see she does not read this forum...
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
                            "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
                            "more stuff than you are"
