After the cleaning that I just finished....

She is in the right front pocket...

'til I can get, prep and test the CM9 for right IWB then she moves to left front pocket ... or alternates when dress dictates..

So... basically I consider her ready for duty...

Short update on a boring range session today.
Only had a few minutes so ...

Carry 6 round mag = flawless
Another 50 rounds of PMC FMJ (what the range carries)... flawless...

Only using my 2 6 round mags cause I sent the 7 rounder back asking if they would please replace it with a 6 rounder so all mags are the same.

I told them it was used (and sanded down to miss the mag release button) so not sure if they will replace it free but we shall see.

        So.... that brings me to..

        546 rounds trouble free !!!!

Gotta love a well running pistol !

        Off to clean...

Still reading all I can find here on the p380.
There are plenty that say they are fine but the latest "Goodbye P380" and others make me pause.

In the end I still think I have to get one. It is just the best pocket solution for me in my mind nothing else comes close.
Sorry, but the Seecamp LWS 380 blows the P380 out of the water, and it's a good amount smaller, too. I've both, and there's really no comparison.

The Beretta Cheetah and Sig P232 are also much better, albeit larger, pistols. The P380 just ain't there yet, and I will not trust my life to it.

Chevys/Fords, boxers/briefs, Wendys/Burger King. It's all about personal preference. My P380 was was what I expected it would be and DO trust my life to it.

My reply was not about personal preference, it was regarding the statement that nothing in the. 380 field compares to the P380, which is patently false.

Glad you got one that works for you; mine's a piece of crap. Hope yours goes bang when you need it to.

I've seen the black slides pitting off on several guns at the slide stop where metal contacts metal, very minimal though! I personally like the stainless versions for the fact of easy cleaning purposes.Just my 2 cents!

cesande - Glad you have a good copy of the P380. I just bought one and have 225 rounds through it. I've shot all ball ammo and only had 3 light strikes that were due to dirty WWB ammo. I removed the firing pin, did a clean and shine on the track and pin and that was the end of that story... I love this little gun and at this point it has become my front pocket carry piece. I couldn't be happier. (:>)

body mass, sorry I just don't buy the dirty WWB ammo as the cause of the light strikes. The fact that u cleaned the striker channel more than likely took care of your light strikes.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
