I came at it the opposite way having first pocket carried a .380 for many years - most often as a primary. I now can't believe how much of my .380 (P3AT) pocket carry has been displaced by my PM9 - easily 80% or better. I'm not a big guy, 5'10'' and 160 pounds. A couple of pants have pockets just a little to tight for my PM9 and a few dress pants that are fine size wise but because of material print just a little to much.

      Thanks for this.
This does beg the question ...
Do you use some form of pocket holster?
I would definitely plan on doing that.
I am coming out of a KelTek pf9 that with the desantis pocket holster I can not hide in my pocket (the butt is visible even without my moving around).

I do know that the CM9 is very slightly smaller than the PF9 but the P380 is a full half inch shorter in length which is where I believe I will be better suited.

I know ... I know.... I REALLY want to carry a 9 but not at Rohrbaugh (sp?) prices

        Thanks...
Cheaper than Dirt has 4 on hand so one would "assume" that they are rolling over inventory at a decent clip which "should" put their remaining stock into a higher SN range...

I was looking to get a p380,,saw the cm9 and fell inlove,,carry it in my pocket all the time,,even when I have my g-23 on my hip,,don't even know it's there,,except when i wear running shorts,,and then i just have to use the ties i shorts and all is fine,,the 9mm is better anyway imo.

forgot to say my cm-9 outshoots my g-19,,and has less recoil..I don't know how, with that being said..I like black for carry..but stainless is easier to take care of..the way I see it is it's a tool meant to be used..if it gets scratched up a little from carry no big deal.

I missed the original question but I always use the paste. Never heard of liquid.

Homemade Flitz, with acknowledgement that I've never used Flitz but understand it's characteristics. Bon-Ami Cleanser (it breaks down as you use it) mixed with light weight motor/gun oil to create either a paste or a liquid? Just wondering.

take ur time, do all things right from the git go and then if something happens, u won't be wondering if u did so and so to the gun. Nice gun when the work as designed, a pain in the ass when they don't.. give it a couple hundred rounds thogu be fore getting to excited, document what is going on also. like what ammo ur using and if a failure appears, when andwhere in the magazine did it happen,. shoot good ball ammo to start out with, stay away from cheapo off brand foreigh crap. Use the slide lock lever top ;load the first round ntil u can get very good at racking a live round in the gun. alwayts nice to have another good shooter along with you to watch u and to also, if u have issues, then let him try it to see if he can duplicate.
Not sure I would rush in trying to shoot 200 rounds at one range session either. shooter gets tired, gun changes in ones grip and things happen and sometmes it is just shooter fatigue. these are small ass guns, proper grip is mandatory, what is propper grip???The gun will more than likely tellyou that.
