We got a gun show coming up here in Austin next week, gonna pick up as much 9mm as I can afford. Our local Cabela's or Academy has been spotty at best since this madness started.

I got a grab bag of different stuff today at two separate walmarts. The first one had federal champion and UMC. The second had PPU. The first one was limiting people to a max of 1 100 round box of federal and 2 boxes of UMC. Second one didn't seem to care how much you bought.

Walmart hasn't pulled ammo off the shelves in Ohio. My local WM got a shipment of 9's on the shelf Monday morning and they were gone by noon. The clerk said she fields at least 20 calls a day asking about ammo.

I got into reloading just before Christmas. The supply prices were reasonable, I stocked up...... Just in time

Walmart, Meijers, Bass Pro shop and just about every where else can't keep ammo. in stock. Of the local gun ranges that I am familiar with they won't even sell you non self defense rounds unless you buy range time and you are still restricted to what you can shoot in an hours time. I can't blame them. If you don't have bullets, they loose the range
            fee.
On Sat. we stopped at Bass Pro shop. They normally have around 100 hand guns, but on that day they were down to 4 auto. and 2 cowboy revolvers!!!!!

It doesn't seem to be slowing down, in fact, I think it's sped up in the last week. Yesterday I happened to hit SGAMMO.com late morning. They had 65 cases of Winchester Super-X 147gr (my target round choice). I am pretty well stocked on that, so didn't immediately jump. I got a phone call and then responded to an email, then thought 'why not' and went back 30 minutes later, gone. And they were limiting to 2 cases per customer. So 32 customers in 30 minutes, 32500 rounds. Evaporated.

              It's definitely crazy.
