Excentricity? You guys search for these words just to make me feel stoopid don't ya. Well yall gonna have to take it to the next level, any third grader knows excentricity is a perfect circle!.

So what does that say about us. We're all circles? We tolerate circles? That just don't make no sense at all.

I always have one axle off center. My first chief told me I needed to work on my officer swagger. It works perfect.

                      Not neked

Bawanna - New grips for my 1911 (the 22 conversion installed at present). Tiger cocobolo. What do you think? Also installed a mag well on the gun.

BTW - Can't decide if I like the black screws or the stainless.

The wood is book matched. Depending on the way the light hits the wood, it will look either lighter or darker.

The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

Those are beautiful. I never seen wood like that and it's awesome that they are book ended. Did you whittle those yourself?

The stainless screws look great but I bet the black screws would look nice too.

Yep, took a few hours. Hardest part was inletting for the magwell. Did them a couple of days ago. The wood is the laminated dymondwood that they have in their catalog. Got it from the Texas Knife Supply last month when I went by there but did not get around to doing anything until this week. (work you know, in the Falkland Islands)

Well ya done damn good. I don't see the inletting for the mag well? The grip isn't just flush with the bottom of the frame where it meets the mag well?
I never played with a mag well, seen em of course but didn't look that close.

Thanks......The magwell is from Wilson Combat and it attaches to the gun using the lower pins for the grips (not welded on to the frame). The fit is very tight to the bottom of the frame. The metal hooks are thick enough to make the grips not fit flush with the frame so the grips have to be inlet on the backs to make them fit flush.

I'll take a picture later on to show how the magwell connects to the frame. Or you can go to the Wilson site to see it.
