I have a New England breaking barrel 12 gauge. Woodpecker gun. Love to watch people shoot it the first time cuz when they pop open that barrel they are looking down at it and it FLINGS the shell out of there and gets them right between the eyes everytime. Its great....but that mixed with the recoil of it and they dont wanna shoot it anymore

No real pistol burners tho. Might catch a .22 catridge down the sleeve once and again but they arent bad

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

One of my other pistols beaned me in the forehead so bad it drew blood. I think it was the Boberg.

My PM40 hurls shells back about 15 feet and often bounces them off the back wall of the range before hitting the floor...It doesnt hit the shooter but I learned the hard way not to stand behind my son while he is shooting...On a recent trip I caught one right between the eyes right above the safety glasses and it left a red mark visible for several days....

My G27, with a 40-9mm barrel and +P+ Winchester Rangers,
ejects like somebody entered a ballistic launch code.
The shell casings ricochet of the walls and come back and hit me.
They have cooled off and slowed down by then.

In 357 Sig the cases appear to reach escape velocity.
As they disappear and I can't find them to sweep up - LOL.

Never had one hit me in the face, [but then I've never owned a Glock] but they do end up in odd places, especially after bouncing off a partition. I've had the usual inside the jacket, hat brims, shirt pockets, and jacket hoods, but the weirdest one I can't explain. I was wearing regular pants with slash front pockets and an untucked tee that covered the pockets. When I got home, I had two 45 cases in my right front pocket.

When my DLC PM45 was new, first couple of boxes... it would send the occasional empty back toward me. As things loosened up, that completely stopped. My guess is the spring got weaker, and empties flew clear better.

Remember - the spring is not made to perform as they want it to, instead the spring is made to turn into the spring they want it to. Fact of life on small guns with very little over-run in the action.

Hellmy tuned and supe45r accurate glock 19 does that "occassionally". I live with it as moe than likely it could be my gri9p changed or head position changed. Kinda hard to fix what doesn't hapen every tme. Could alsop copuld be ammo related to. Lot of variables that just might not be gun related.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I've gotten hot brass behind my glasses once. It made a little burn under the corner of my eye. Now I wear a hat 99% of the time when shooting.

+1 on the hat always. Baseball caps divert a lot of brass

Got hit on the forehead a few times during break-in, even got one down the shirt. Hasn't happened for along time though.
