Timely topic. My wife and I were at the range today and a couple spent casing found their way down her tank top. Marks between the breasts and by the belly button. I guess she'll wear t-shirts from now on.

        Ops,

Although I hate getting rained on with shells from adjacent stations.
I'm very sure I've been guilty of raining on folks near me with my Glock G27/357.

I shot 100+ rounds and only could find around 15 or 20 shell casings anywhere
near me when I swept up.
I do try to shoot on weekdays when the doors open.
Usually there are very few, if any, other folks shooting.

Don't know what I can really do about that?

Probably nothing. It's not that big a deal to me. I just wear a hat with a brim when I go to the range, and I view it as an exercise in maintaining my concentration even when getting hit in the head randomly by casings from next door.

I sold my Glock Gen4 23 for just that problem and about a 3% failure to feed rate. Before I sold it I took it to Glock in Smyrna, Ga. where they put in a new ejector, extractor and RSA. It did not solve the problem. After 500 rounds in my PM9 not a single problem of any kind.

My Glock G27 has a ZERO failure rate in three calibers and 4000+ rounds.
I can live with not being able to find all my shell casings - LOL.

357 Sig rounds at lunch today. Swept up 20 or 25 casings tops....

a negative Glock report, only on this forum canu get away with that comment. Try it on the Glock talk and they will run u out on a rail, for as u know GLOCK PERFECTION means exactly that, But ovber here will allow u to make that comment and live another day Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

And here I thought our (not very often fired anymore) Kel-Tec P-3AT's were the only commonly seen pistol to put ejected cases in a low earth orbit.
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Both Bob Day and Jim Clark used to say the could tell just how the extraxtor and ejector on a 1911 were set up...just by the place the empties landed.

under the top secret user name Barth.

There are actually lots of folks having issues with their Glocks.
Mostly gen 4 and late gen 3 9mm guns.
Hot brass in the face mostly.

Endless sticky threads about ejector/extractor part numbers,
chickens feet and Voo Doo rituals to resolve the problem.
There is a lot of quiet talk that Glock quality is on the wain (gen 4).

Funny thing is folks using 40-9mm conversion barrels and 40 extractor/ejectors, like me, are fine.

The gen 4 guns in general seem to be hit and miss quality wise.
Lots of folks sending new guns back to the Mother Ship.

Lot's of newbies join that forum after drinking the cool aid,
buying a new gen 4 Glock and being unpleasantly surprised with problems.

There really seems to be quality control issues in Glock Land.

My Glock that I rave about is a gen 3 G27/40 cal
