Does anyone use a Boresnake on your Kahr's?

It slips in the barrel a lot easier that way.

Keep them in my range bag and run’em through when I’m done shooting.
If I’m not going to get home for a while I’ll do a quick clean with a RemOil wipe on the carry gun.

Side note:
If you have a pellet pistol for home practice like me, those Crosman pellet cans make great storage containers

I have been using a Boresnake since I got my CW9 about a year ago. I actually bought the .40 cal version so it fits a little tighter. No problems at all. You do have to wrap the string around your hand for leverage to pull it through.

Thrown um in the washer when really dirty etc, Best invention I have seen in years..

Needless to say I love it.

I religously do a annual cleaning. I don't know if Jocko meant the clothes washer, but I break down the guns and throw them into the dish washer.

So that's what that loop in the back is for. I 've always had to clean my.22s from the muzzle to the chamber or else I'd have burst cases and stinging powder in my face at times.

Great idea!!! My friend smokes pipe tobacco and has a ton of empty tins...I might snag some of those and wash out the smell...

plain ol' brass brush, on a stainless rod of my own making, attached to a handle made of stainless that I knurled myself, fit into wee brass bushings that I fit and reamed myself

I bought a boresnake (not a Hoppe's) for my CM9. When I tried it, the stiff brass brush embedded in the middle of it stuck tight in the barrel just beyond the chamber! I haven't tried to use it since.

Interesting. I use a Hoppe's boresnake to clean my .22's. It works just fine on several different handguns and rifles - except on my M&P 15-22, where it sticks just beyond the chamber, just like in your CM9. I pulled on the lanyard as hard as I could, but it just wouldn't go through.

I wonder why it would work easily on some guns and stick on others?
