Well, Halloween 2012 came and went. We only had 31 Trick or Treaters. half must have been teens and a few college age. Some were definitely of the "trailer park" persuasion, but from the local neighborhood, but all were well-behaved.
I went all-out this year... decorated... even! I went online and got some stuff to print and even did some cutting out and taping in place. I have a hose running across my walkway and I put an L.E.D. flashing light and orange signs to try to keep people from tripping over my watering hose setup.
I, of course, had my trusty P380 with BB +P GD's loaded... just in case... plus several lights and surveillance cameras.
I bid adieu to October!

Nice house Wynn. I decided not to trick or treat this year. Last year I broke 3 windows tossing rocks at the front door of houses with steps I couldn't get up. Had them little windows next to the door just like you got. Didn't do it on purpose.
People had no sense of humor and one didn't even give me candy. Wasted my time on that house.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

It's probably 150 feet from the street to the front door and it's all wheel chair accessible. Just remember that we have different hazards here!

We had 2 treaters this year, up from 0 last year. Combination of rough roads, no street lights, large lots keep most of them away. My wife and I promise each other we won't get the big Costco bite sized candy bag each year but do it anyway. It never seems to go to waste but obviously does go to our waists.•"Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end." - O. L.

Yeah . . . we gave out small boxes of raisins. One little girl thanked us and upon reaching her waiting mother announced that she really didn't like them much. Her mom offered to eat them for her.Originally posted by OldLincoln View PostWe had 2 treaters this year, up from 0 last year. It is usually pretty much just the local kids from our neighborhood who come. I am always a little surprised how many there are.
I like raisins too. They work well in oatmeal once the weather turns colder. That will be a while . . .
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
