They had JUST got in a few boxes of PDX .45 and .40, but nothing in 9, 380, or 223...and the 22lr was barren.
I think it's just part of the crazy.
Maybe worried about some extreme ammo tax on all ammo.
    Personally I'm focusing on 5.56/.223.

Oh man, $.50 a ROUND or something...so a normal brick of cheap .22lr suddenly goes up about $280......

we seen this in the ammo thing a few years back when obummer got in office. Took quite awhile for my local wal mart to get ammo back on the shelves. I forsee a year downt he road this time for any ammo to start showing up and lasting longert than a day. I will not buy at Gander Mt. Noramally they put people in jail for robery. How these people get away with it is beyond me. Its winterhere, so shootin much is not gonna happen with me, I do have an inside at our wal mart as my wofe works there and keeps a constant eye on the sprting goods section plus the magager of the sproting goods is one of my old time class mates and friends. She said I willget first shot at 500 rounds of wwb or federal fmj when it hits the storeroom. I don't wantto drain them , so I said 500 wou7ld be fine..

I am hard pressed to understand the 22 thing though, other than people by what ever they feel they have to have... At least our walmart and most all that I have been in , never jacked the prices of their ammo to fokk the public. What small gun shops we have around this area certainly jacked the hell out of their ammo. the Indy 1500 gun show in coming in a week or so and It willbe a mad house and ammo will be sky high for they know they can get it, but I alsop woold be very surprised if there is alot of ammo for sale for most are legit gun dealers and they are probablyall sold out. Have not decided if I want to even go or not, as I would be a gacker and not a buyer anyways.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Every local gun store near me is out of ammo. It's a shame, I was hoping to pick up some cheap stuff to break my PM9 in with.

Knowing of it, doesn't divulge it.
I'm sure even those sources are sold out by now.
I've already completely drained my two online Ak mag sources.
CTD $150 Glock mags are sold out.

                It is crazy.

I wonder how many of the people who are bashing "price gougers" are paying exorbitant prices anyway, retail or private sales, for AR-15s, magazines, and ammo.

With the last ammo rush I would think most of your guy's closets/basements would look like entire ammo dumps.

I ain't worried one bit about any of this ammo shortage/gun control crap....Ya'll remember late last year there were several threads discussing if the Great One was elected again for his final solution term that gun control, assult rifle bans, outrignt confiscation and how the Gov might outlaw on line sales and tax ammo over the moon all would be high on his agenda???...Well old CrabbyAzz said we got checks and balances in place to prevent that kind of thing from ever ever happening and there is absolutely nothing to worry about and King DemoRat Obummer would never use the power of his office to try to ban any second amemdment rights!!!...I feel so much better now knowing that!!!...

It was a b!tch finding online places with ammo last month. I just wanted to get some more Gold Dots Short Barrel Version and many places had prices but nothing in stock. I got my .45's but I'm still waiting on my 9mm and .40S&W. I'm glad that I didn't wait until I got LOW! Ammo to Go took my money immediately and then said it would be 3 weeks at least before possible shipment... about a month from the order! I wonder how much money they raised that way!?

I may just shoot the range's ammo on my next visit. I want to keep my "reserves" and not worry about resupply.

I ALWAYS look at the shelves in Walmart, but just for information on prices and availability. They haven't had anything I would buy, and the main calibers... I only look for 9mm, .40 S&W, & .45 ACP, have been absent, except for the odd box of Tula.

I'm kinda wishing I had bought some of the "canned" stuff for long-term storage or trade... even stuff I can't shoot... for trade items. Paper dollars may become even more worthless for necessities!

I'm guessing that's the reason .22LR is disappearing from shelves. I can't imagine anyone believing .22LRwill be banned.

Hey folks, buy laser trainers. At least you can have fun with your dry fire training.
We got our laser trainers about a month ago and it's a nice cheap option.

Please tell us more, either here, or in a dedicated thread. I think others will be interested in learning about the type of trainer you are using and your recommendations based on your experience of the last month.
