And Wyn, Lee Marvin was a real life hero as well. Hit the beach at Omaha with Capt Kangaroo. Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Always wore a sweater cause his arms were heavily tatooed. Special forces. "

Yeah, I had forgotten about that and it wasn't ago long ago I saw something about Captain Kangaroo being a war hero.
And I always loved Jimmy Stewart, and I know he was a real war hero, too. He retired a few months before I got out of the Air Force to go to college. I thought he wound up with two stars, posthumously. Maybe some of the buttwipes in Congress blocked that, though.

Western: Outlaw Josey Wales , and then Lonesome Dove… the entire series, but especially the “first season”
War: Band of Brothers When that series ended, I felt like I had lost something… at least my buddies. I’ve got the DVDs and may get the Blue Ray some day… 58” plasma. I just bought The Longest Day in Blue Ray for about $12.99 at Sam’s Club. The Battle of the Bulge, Back to Bataan , Where Eagles Dare, The Bridge Over the River Kwai, and did everyone forget The Great Escape ?
Comedy: Burning Saddles There probably funnier comedies, but that was a ground breaker. Young Frankenstein comes to mind.
Drama: Taken , The Shooter, though the first couple of Death Wishes were pretty good… just like looking in the mirror… of my soul.

I'll bet there are lots you guys haven't seen... you young whippersnappers... whatever the heck that means!

Ya know, there are a lot more categories... didn't want to get into horror, but fantasy and SciFi (not SyFy, sounds like that bad STD). Who could forget Conan the Barbarian... well, almost everyone, but there's the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Predator, and Alien and Aliens!

Oh yes! The FedEx guy asked if I wanted it delivered in the morning or afternoon... or what do you think? Morning, of course. Kahr's paying.
I didn't want to shoot it and lose any options... like swapping for a DLC or upgrading, but he said they don't do upgrades. You have to buy the slide and they didn't have any available. I just don't like giving up something that works to get another slide. Dang! It's nice to have a spare. or change it to match your attitude or dress. Sometimes flashy is okay, other times a bit of stealth is better.
                      Wynn

When I was shooting those three, I didn't even think about putting the K9 in the picture. Now there's a stepchild.

I was wowed by Tom Hanks after Saving Private Ryan and his support of the military, but after this latest Pacific theater movie, he's showing different colors... more like the rest of the left coast revisionists. He was calling the the Pacific War a racist war on our part. %%$$*&! The Japanese attacked us and showed their contempt for surrendering allied servicemen and P.O.W.s by torturing and killing them. They considered other nationalities and races subhuman and treated them as such... and we're the racists!!
HE injected politics... and in favor of the real aggressors and racists!!
                              Wynn:31:

I don't have any warm fuzzies for revisionist crap like that!

we tend to give these fu--ing movie stars to much stage platform to shoot their mouths off. They would call John Doe in a crowd a radical, but I guess it's ok for Forrest gump to say that ****.

to me very few movie stars are not asses..
