The next one on the list is still up for grabs, ...looking hard at Ruger GP100 .357, 6 in brl, stainless, and still hopeful of actually seeing the new Ruger SR1911. Seem to have this "thing" for Ruger hardware, they just draw me in.
I haven't abandoned ship, I still love my CW9, and it is my daily carry. When you can't make them see the light,

Thats the beauty of guns, you can two time em, carry em in pairs or have whole group experiences and they all feel just fine and get along well.
I've always like rugers and have many of them.
I need to trek north some day and hit warehouse sports, haven't been there since the canucks bought em. My kid says they got a nice inventory again.
I'm told the little shop at the Anacortes cut off of 5. Holiday Sports or some such thing is doing well also. Stopped there alot enroute to Anacortes when I remodeled the hospital. Used to be like a 7-11 but with crab pots, and fishing stuff and hardware as well as junk food and of course the coffee pot.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

I would gladly buy from my local shop, but they're just not competitive enough. I know a smaller shop has higher overhead, but a price difference of more than $60 or $70 is just too much.
On another note, I'm already thinking about maybe some new grips for the Vaquero. I'm convinced Ruger just put those black plastic grips on , knowing we would upgrade to something befitting such a fine weapon.
I'm thinking of something , not too fancy, it is a cowboy gun, after all, and maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer for a better hold on the gun. Have any ideas? You do make grips for wheel guns, right?......When you can't make them see the light,

The worst case scenario is we'll have to meet up and I'll confiscate the gun on a weekend when I know I can focus all efforts on it. Once I got it fitted I could get the gun back and we're home free. That's an absolute worst case scenario, I hate having other peoples guns away from them any length of time. So dang hard to give em back sometimes.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

I want that gun in 44 mag. I never really warmed up to 45 colt, but in a 44 mag that would blow my dress off. Right bbl length, finish and feel, I dig.Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.
