5.11 makes a much nice holster T shirt that willfit woman perfectly. It has pockets on both sides, padded on the inside where it wouldjake contact with the body, velcro closure. IMO even more concealable than the one picutrerd her, as the entiere gun is cover and resging inside the pouches.

I've had another mfgs version of that for about ten years. Don't need to use it often these days....it does work well but not for fast access.

In basic training, I wore my boots into the shower...fastest way to clean them.

I tried the 5.11 holster shirt first and wasn't happy with it. It was very well made, but I was not able to get the gun as far under my arm as I wanted it to be. This shirt is better as far as that, but I think the 5.11 shirt supported the Glock more and kept it tighter to my body. This shirt would probably work better with a smaller gun.

                    I've gotta ask....

You gals are looking at "undershirt" type holsters, which I think are pretty ingenuius designs for the most part. Guys can wear these with shirts with "break away closures" ....maybe snaps. I thought about making one of these modified T shirts myself about 10 years agobefore I ever heard of the commercial models. Considered taking the top three buttons off my dress shirts, "dummie sewing" them to the button holes, and putting velcro closures behind the buttons to allow a better way to reach through the outer shirt to the holster shirt.

My question is how do you ladies wear a cover garment (and what conditions would be acceptable for the style) that still allows you quick access to the holster T?

I do like the idea of the holster T, but still haven't tried it.

That other thing y'all talked about made for ladies would certainly print if I wore it.

For me, the holster shirt is more about deep concealment. I absolutely cannot print at work but still want the comfort of having my Glock close by. It wouldn't be fast to draw the gun though since I was planning to wear the shirt under a t-shirt or polo.

I wear my holster T shirt 5.11 under sumpin also, sweetshire, or button shirt. notgonna be a fast draw thing under those condition but at leat the gun is with me all the time and very conceaalalbe IMO, doeksn't bounch around in that 5.11 shirt. stay right wher eu put it. I normally stick the PMJ9 and the desantis all in that 5.11shirt together. Nice thing is also without a gun u can wear it as an outter shirt and it looks very ice and the two pockets willhold anything u want to. I don't wear mine as uch as I should either as I am just so comfortablewith m pocket carry but anything bigger than a PMj9 would be ideal for the 5.11 T-shirt..

Melissa, also consider the problems of the restroom. A shoulder or shirt holster is much more convenient for a lady. This from a couple of female LEOs I work with.

Then this ought to work well for you. It's what I successfully used/use it for.

Men and Women can have easier access to a shirt holster if you wear a cover garment
(ie western shirt) with snaps. Just rip it open and get to your gun.

All this discussion has made me think that a holster shirt might be a good choice when the little grandkids are around. Currently, I pocket carry most of the time when the little (less than 7yrs) ones are hanging out. I definitely don't want one of them accidentally touching my gun on my waist.
ps. pocket carry for women can really be a challenge with most women's clothing.

I wouldn't really worry about the shirt having snaps or buttons. If you need your gun, pull, take the buttons with that pull and get Roscoe out. Shirts are cheap, buttons are easy.
