Trying to meet all three you might want to check out polymer DAO Sig Sauers...like the P250.
    QUOTE]

That is exactly what I was thinking.

I looked at them recently but ended up purchasing something elase that was DA/SA. More to come on that...
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I paid a little around 550 bucks for a new Kahr TP45 at my LGS this past Summer. Today it is my EDC Pistol. For me it is a sweet accurate mid-sized 45.

Picked up a S&W Gen III last week in 45acp for $400 and it is a keeper. I also would suggest the Sig P6. All metal and can be found in the $350 to $400 range. It's DA/SA and 9mm.

          Cw9 is my favorite and a glock19 gen4 second beretta FS92 third.

The third generation S&Ws can have either a curved or straight grip, which is easily swapped. Try both!

              my 2 centavos:
The newest S&W MP 9 has a better trig FWIW so I lean toward that. I have one. Eats ANYTHING I feed it. I put it through the test. It was dropped in the dirt, has not been cleaned in the last 600 rnds and it still is ready to go. BUT if you could find one close to $500, The Sig P226 is great another option. Good ergos, great trig, good capacity, well made. I prefer American made though.

It's gona be hard to find just what you want with both the trigger pull type and straight legged grip. Kahrs tp series could pass as a full size to some but price runs closer to 468lgs price. It has 4" barrel but grip size and angleis full size a 1911 like from RIA will have the same grip angle and with thin grips and it the same practical size as a . There mid size is the same practical size as the tp just heavier. This fs-tactical 45 5" was 468 lgs priced the GI model sells for around 408. Stock trigger pull is 5lb to 5 1/2lb just sa.

In a full size pistol Sigs are the way to go IMO

But keep in mind my 'suggestion' on the P250 is a plastic Sig...not really a 'Sig' in the sense that most people want a 'Sig'. However, you can get the P226 and P229 (as well as other all metal Sigs) in the DAK variant so that it behaves like the P250 in that pseudo-Kahr long DAO trigger.

My SIG P250 is about as close to the Kahr trigger as anything I've run across. CTD has them for $538, with night sights. They are packing them with 10 round mags, but their are standard capacity mags available.
If I get another 9, it's probably going to be one of the models of the CZ-75.
I'm not much into trying to match one pistols characteristics in another brand of pistol, there is always going to be some difference. A friend has that Ruger mentioned earlier, and it's not bad at all. The trigger is somewhat Kahr-like, except it has that Glock style split trigger. CTD has them for around $450. I'd go with the SIG. It comes with night sights.

I've got 2 M&P full size. Nothing like the Kahr. Totally different creatures. But I love em all. If you want a full size to match your Kahr, then buy a Kahr. Just because your local gun shops don't have one in stock, go look elsewhere and buy it there or have your gun shop order you one. Seems simple to me.

I'm one of those who really likes them. I've had six or seven all metal Gen 3 S&W's, but I'm now down to one, a 45 cal CS45. Unfortunately, burglars also seem to like them. They are quite light for their size if you get the alloy frame, and they are 100% reliable.

I vote for the T series Kahrs if you want the grip shape and trigger pull, but a larger grip than the middle sized models. They are very comfortable, but still very flat and concealable. If you get something in the same caliber as smaller Kahrs you own, that gives you extended mags for them from the T series too.
