Bawanna, ejector wire was exactly what was wrong with the Glenfield. Bent it a bit and it was fine. Cool!

Ok boys, I decided to play Christmas morning and dig out all my 22 plinkers, couple I'd forgot about too.
Most of these I inherited, so don't get no idea that I'm richer than Davy Crockett or nothing like that.

Here's a couple little Chipmunks. I have a 3rd one somewhere. Got one for each kid. A lot of little kids have learned to shoot with these. Accurate little buggers too.

This is a group shot. I just didn't have time to take pictures one at a time. I can do better if anybody wants to see something specific.

                  L-R
Remington 33, Ruger 10-22, Western Auto 150, Marlin 80, Mossberg 42MB this one is kind of special, it's marked US Property was a training rifle, it also went to Britain as a lend lease rifle. Very accurate and comfortable rifle to shoot. A good gunshow find this one.
Then the CZ452 that Greg turned me on to. Might be my favorite of the bunch and my wife loves it best too.
                  Remington M540X Target, Winchester 52C, and I slipped in my Savage 93 in 17HMR, that's almost a 22.

Then my cherished 1890 22WMR. I paid large for this one but still was a great deal.

My first new store bought gun, the mandatory Single Six Convertible. Bought I believe in 1973.

                  And my wife's Ruger SP101 in 22.

And of course the auto's I posted the other day.

Probably not the best photo's. Inside at night but you guys been posting all the good stuff lately, I'm trying to keep up ya know?

                              You wear underwear?

I wanted a Winchester 52 for as long as I can remember. A Sgt here's wife's stepdad (you get all that) who lived in California was quite a shotgunner but also did a lot of 22 match shooting.
I made him a set of 1911 grips, the ones with the german shorthairs inlaid. He was knocked over.
Anyhow I met him on one of his visits up here and we started chatting back and forth via email.
Of course my desire for a 52 came up several times. Prior to another trip up he mentioned that he had this 52C and why don't he bring it up and leave it with me to play with.
I told him I'd love to see it but don't leave it as I'd grow attached. He said at his age he quite often forgets where he leaves stuff. He showed up and it was in a custom built case. The rifle sits standing upright in little stands inside. The whole package is heavy but sure nice.
He mentioned he was coming up on another trip and might want to play with it, so I brought it in to the Sgt so it would be there when he arrived.
He ended up not coming up due to snow and such. The Sgt who hadn't seen it didn't want to give it back.
I mentioned this to Bob and he made a call and I got it back. He chewed me out for bringing it in and told me not to do that again.
Sadly he had several heart attacks and had some chest pains. Went in and had a stroke and passed away a few years back.
He was a great guy to talk to. Got a bunch of stories about him for sure.

That is a fantastic collection! It looks like you have an old Western Auto 150 next to the 10-22. That is pretty much also known as a Winchester 190. A 290 was my first store bought gun, in the late 1960s. Your 10-22 is looks to be tricked out. I've been jealous of your CZ 452 since you bought one and I didn't. But, that is just one of your bunch of bolt actions.

Don't get me started on those pistols...
