  • For a plinker with a can, I love my Walther P22. Threaded barrels are available. CCI has sub-sonic, standard velocity .22s, though most hi-velocity .22s are sub-sonic in a pistol. .22s with a suppressor really puts a grin on you face. Just stay away from the aluminum cans as cleaning may be a problem.

    • Gave this LNIB S&W Model 34 to my oldest grandson a few years ago. It was a pretty nice plinker...

      • Haven't shot my mom's Colt .22 Short in decades. Recently bought a couple boxes of 100, so maybe I'll go scare a couple of squirrels.

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

                              • She's plumb friendly and a damn bed hog too.

Won't set foot on the wife's side but when I lay me head down she's stretched out on my chest looking for some petting. Then she generally snuggles up between my knees which is ok till I try to roll over. Sometimes she'll jump up and get out of the way, sometimes not.
