Just picked up this Remington RM380 this morning. $221.36 delivered from Bud's - after the $50 rebate will make it $171.36. Plus FFL fee. (Bud's raised their price by $50 a couple of days later)

Exactly, my wife's is nice for a mouse gun.Originally posted by Ikeo74 View PostI have one and it requires "no" break
in. 100% reliable out of the box. Price is great too!The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Shore is a loooong trigger pull though - longer than my CW45 it seems.
If they put one out in 9mm on the same frame like Rohrbaugh did, I'll buy one of those too if the price is right (and it has the rebate).A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition

You got that right about that trigger. Did you notice that little insert in the mag that when removed you can put 9mm rounds in the mag? Maybe the 9mm is in the future.Originally posted by Armybrat View PostShore is a loooong trigger pull though - longer than my CW45 it seems.

Well I'll be hornswoggled, so there is an insert! If they come out with a 9mm on the same frame & slide, all I'd have to do is buy their 9mm barrel & swap it out.... right? And of course remove the magazine insert. Perhaps change the recoil springs too.Originally posted by yqtszhj View PostYou got that right about that trigger. S&W 586 No Dash
I've had an itch for a .357 full sized revolver. All the local used ones have been Rugers. While Rugers are fine revolvers, the triggers do not approach the sweetness of a fine tuned S&W.
I have been following Gunbroker.com for a while now and everyone loves their Smiths. Nothing every came up in my price range. Especially the SS 686 models, pre Hilliary Hole.
So... I saw a shooter grade come up, stocks were extremely rough. Estate pistol from a LEO, carried a lot, shot a lot. Caught mine eye. Bought her three weeks ago. Got some nice grips off Fleabay, the actions is sooo sweet. I think it's had some tuning work. Well used, but not abused. Wow does she shoot sweet. I had her out for two range sessions so far. 125 and .158 .38 specials are like .22's recoil wise. .158 full magnum loads, no problem. Makes me wish I had bought something like this years ago. From the photo's you can see there is a little top strap cutting, the lock up has a little wiggle, there is holster wear, a drag line. But My God she shoots so sweet. Best DA trigger I've ever experienced. Single action is a dream. Very tight groups at the range.

Truth be told, it is the same size as my PM9. If Remington starts making it in 9mm for the same price, then I'd buy it ASAP. If not, I'd go for the CM9.Originally posted by ct9kahrtoter View PostSuch a cool little pistol!
I just bought the RM380 because it was so inexpensive. Not a bad gun for $171 even though it is kinda bulky compared to the LCP and a CW380.A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition

Always liked the looks of those Smiths. Had a 686 on my want list for a long time. They aren't getting cheaper, that's a sure thing.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
