School Shooting Expert Threatened Over Sandy Hook Investigation

Mr. Halbig does make some points that make you wonder. Such as why were EMT not allowed into the building? Why were parents not allowed to see their children's bodies. Why were detectives sent to his home and told him he had better back off or he would regret it? The police declared everyone was dead, and I find it hard to believe that not a single student was wounded and not killed and EMT couldn't have been of some use. At Columbine, there were more wounded than were killed. The point was brought up that Police cannot declare people dead, only a Doctor can, so again, why were EMT prevented from entering the building. Whey were officers from other jurisdictions found in the wood behind the school? Dressed in clothing that more or less matched what Adam Lanza was wearing? Why are they not providing documents to Mr. Halbig under the FOIA act? What is there that needs to remain hidden? Too many things just don't add up. One would think that the Police would be eager to release documents on the shooting to help eliminate these conspiracy theories, but instead they keep them hidden from public view?

I bet most of the naysayers didn't even bother to watch the videos from the OP. At least watch the video before you call start hanging crap on the guy. He is not some guy that wandered in off the streets, he is a former Florida State Trooper and Customs Agent, before changing to a teaching career. He's testified as an expert witness at Columbine and other shootings. LZ said that conspiracies always fall apart due to their own volatility, but how many ever new about the Northwoods conspiracy to take out Castro until a few years ago? The conspiracy to assassinate MLK remained buried for 40 years, before the court declared his assassination was the result of a conspiracy to murder him. Conspiracies don't always fall apart, if planned well enough.
Perhaps Sandy Hook is unraveling hence the threats against Mr. Halbig. I don't know what happened at Sandy Hook, I believe the truth lies somewhere between the official story, and some of the conspiracy theories.
If this was a hoax, then buying 40 coffins, and having 40 fake funerals would be no big deal if they really wanted to play it out to the hilt. I hope it was a hoax, that would be better than 40 deaths, most of them children. If it was a hoax in an attempt to garner more support for a ban on assault weapons, then it did backfire badly. The NRA was brought up for wanting to have armed guards at schools, I doubt if they had any more information than anyone else, and their proposal would seem to be a logical step in protecting our children. Certainly more than posting a No Guns sign would. That is where the worst tragedies have occurred, in No Gun zones.
Some people say what difference does it make? I think it makes a big difference, If this was a hoax, then those responsible should be found and punished. It makes a difference as to whether or not we can trust the Government. It's already made a big difference in Connecticut and New York with them passing new gun and magazine restrictions.

EMTs were not allowed in because it was a crime scene and all of the victims were dead. Every one of them had been shot multiple times. EMT's are only required to aid the living which they did. I'm not interested in Mr. Halbig's credentials. I'm only interested in Mr. Halbig's motive. I smell a man looking for publicity and a payday from fools who will believe in any wacked out conspiracy theory. He offers no hard evidence, only conjecture. If no one was killed at Sandy Hook and the entire incident was a ruse who profited from the ruse. No one. None of the other school shootings were a hoax and neither was this one. None of the mall shootings have been a hoax, either.

When a victim is lying in a large pool of blood with his or her eyes open and their pupils are fixed and dilated, they have no pulse, they aren't breathing and they are totally motionless that's a pretty good clue that they are dead. Everyone of the victims was officially declared dead by a doctor. Instead of taking Mr. Halbig at his word why not do a little investigating on your own.

Muggsy, why are you so suspicious of everyone and everything? And so quick to dismiss anything that doesn't fit into your preconceived notions? I guess that's what makes us different, I look for the good in men (when possible), where you seem to look for the bad and seem to think everyone is up to no good. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, until they prove me wrong. Fortunately that rarely happens.
I admit that what you say could be possible. It could also be possible he just wants to get to the truth.

As far as EMT's not allowed in because everyone was dead, only a Doctor can declare a person dead. A person can still be alive, yet have very slight vital signs that an untrained individual might not detect. Children may have died by not allowing the EMT's in to examine them.
As far as hard evidence, he is being blocked from obtaining any. What reason is there that the information he requested shouldn't be given to him? None I can think of, unless there is something to hide.

I took the time to investigate what I could find out about the man, and he seems to be well respected. He helped defend the Sanford Police department in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin killing, when people were howling for their scalps. He's been called as an expert witness at a number of trials involving school shootings.

Who did profit? How about the millions of dollars donated to the Sandy Hook Memorial fund(s). Where did all that money end up? And why have there been no lawsuits filed by the parents against the School District for failure to protect their children? There were more than a few lawsuits filed after Columbine, with 6 people choosing not to settle out of court. The only lawsuit I could find on Sandy Hook was filed on behalf of one of the survivors.
Politicians tried to cash in with gun control proposals, but were thankfully defeated nationally, but they were pretty successful in CT and NY.
I say let the man have the documents he has requested, and either unearth the truth, or put the matter to rest.

We've long looked to Occam's Razor as a method to begin unraveling complicated happenings. Now we have a new tool of logic, Hokum's Maul, a tool of rationalization used to dispel the obvious for the totally absurd.

I think, as 2A proponents, we do ourselves a disservice by advancing conspiracy theories. There are so many better arguments...self-defense, Constitutional, liberty, etc...that I don't think we really need them.

Jump on in Mr.Surveyor the waters fine. When I was young and immature I loved a good conspiracy theory. The problem is that they are too easy to expose for what they are. It's far easier for some to believe in a conspiracy theory than to accept the reality of 20 primary school children and four adults could be murdered by someone with mental problems. They will waste their time trying to convince others that the whacked out theory is true rather than face the fact that occasionally very bad things happen to very good people. The holocaust never happened and the concentration camps didn't exist. It was all a conspiracy to besmirch the German people. Give me an f'in break.
