The professional agitators from out of town want us to think it does. If we just transfer more of our wealth to the government the violence might stop, they basically say. Extortion, I call it.

Not sure. Researching. The median income for the area is listed as mid 30K range.

Really? C'mon...How many people do you see looting and rioting in Brooks Brother suits? I am sure that the majority of the people involved with the chaos were doctors, lawyers, accountants and other degreed and licensed professionals.

I do agree that there are poor and poorly educated folks with common sense. From an analytical and factual standpoint it is the lower classes economically and educationally that have a propensity to riot in the streets. Facts are pesky things. Historically name me one time when the upper class rioted in the USA??? To most sensible folks equating "dumb stuff" to rioting is a stretch of logic that breaks easily.

If, as the reports say, the rioters and looters are mostly out-of-town folks, then I fail to see how the demographics can be interpreted as anything relevant regarding the trouble in Ferguson. Without those folks, the residents would be seen as generally peaceful demonstrators and the news coverage would be minimal like it was before the first night of lawlessness.

Here's another possibly intentional result of the agitators and media sharks stirring up crap that isn't really there. Other countries read the media and think we're a bunch of racists oppressing poor blacks. The very narrative Sharpton, Jackson, and Obama thrive on; that which keeps them employed. http://en.ria.ru/world/20140820/1921...d-Issues-.html

I believe that we've seen enough video footage to know exactly what's going on in Ferguson. Rioting, looting and burning. I can't remember Dr. Martin Luther King advocating any of those methods as a means of righting a wrong. Particularly if a wrong wasn't committed.

A white man from Cleveland who still remembers the Hough riots of 1966.

Yeah, because that's not the media's job to show the bad. And a lot of the looting is going on outside of Ferguson. The incident started in Ferguson, it has spread. If you'd like to see for yourself come for a visit. No need to be a Monday morning quarterback.

How many people would show up if CNN wasn't there 24/7 to broadcast these events? I think half the problem is the fact the media seems to be promoting this to help their ratings.

Lets wait for some real facts and then start over. Or not.

I predict this thread going into a downward spiral so I'm closing it.

Lets talk about guns, knives, girls, or the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan.
