When they get some cahoonas, and put a couple snipers on the roof, and take out these fools with bottles and rocks, it will subside. I guarantee, that if this crowd were white, or if it was me, I/we would be facing assault charges on a police officer. Somehow, they get a free pass. I'm not afraid to say it.......................shoot em. What would you do, if you were being assaulted like the police officers? I would not be able to show restraint.

I know it's stressful out there, and they are in danger all the time, but they need to be smart. And I think they are running on emotions and not smarts. JMO.

I know on these gun forums the justification of the use of force is endless. Cop shoots unarmed suspect in the back as he runs away, and it's "he shouldn't have run", or "We don't know the whole story", or an endless number of other excuses. There is no excuse for shooting an unarmed man in the back. What I see many times, is while subduing a suspect, they bend and twist joints in ways that have got to be painful. Your natural reaction would be to try to relieve that pain by adjusting yourself and relieve the stress on that joint, but the cops call it resisting. Anyone being bent like that would try to stop the pain the same way, it's not always resisting. If they curled me up like a pretzel, I'd be screaming in pain and wriggling around like a worm with salt on him, and the cops would use more force and tell me to stop resisting. I'm not defending the thugs or what they might have done, I'm ready to pull the trigger on one if I eve need to. But I do see unnecessary force being applied, in some situations.

Make no mistake, I am not justifying police brutality. When force is needed and amount of force required to subdue a suspect is not grossly exceeded, it is not brutality.

I'm talking about responsibility. Responsibility to your own safety. You can not be responsible for how a police officer is going to react to your attempted physical escape from his custody, but you CAN be responsible for whether or not you try to escape.

As far as your excuse for the possibility for why someone might get rough treatment while being arrested, it's pretty far fetched. No cop is gonna twist your arm into a pretzel for being a nice guy!
Being calm and compliant often allows for consideration by the officer of your physical inabilities to be manipulated in a normal fashion. if your arm doesn't bend a certain way, the cop is going to immediately know it when he tries to bend it.

there are bad cops, no doubt, Baltimore is over 60% black and i THINK THEIR FORCE IS Over 60% black also, they never reported if the 6 officers involved where all white either. So they burn their ownb town area and loot, they probably don't even know the black mans name that died either. Baltimore city council member Carl Stokes is very upset that his fine citizen protesters are being called "Thugs" and thinks that is no different than calling them the N word so in the interest of good will I think we should think of some more PC names for them such as:

2. Non Union Liquor Transporters
3. Security System and Lock Testers
4. Automobile Recyclers
5. Fire Hose Cut Resistance Testers
