  • Republican Debate VII

I don't know about the rest of you, but I know I will be watching this one. Maybe this will separate the contenders from the pretenders. Curious to see how Scott Walker, Jeb Bush hold up against Donald Trump. Who knows, maybe someone else will surprise us?

Tonight is Round #3 and with Trump falling in the polls it could get very interesting. Lets see what Ben Carson has in store for him.

Yet another chance to sit back and watch the fireworks.

Newest round of debates tonight, according to Trump he has some bombshell to unleash against Ted Cruz.

This is suppose to be the last debate before the Iowa caucus and no Donald Trump.

Yes, I'm ready to see them discuss the issues. I just hate to see them rip each other too bad, so that Hillary comes along and knows where to hit each candidate where it hurts. It will be interesting to see how Trump handles himself when he can't set the rules, and has to play the same as everyone else. I'm thinking if a 2nd rate Hollywood actor can be a great president, then surely a successful billionaire businessman should be up to the task.

I expect Donald Trump to suck all the oxygen out of the room. Whether he focuses on the topics and says what we want to hear, or not, is the question. So far, he seems to have mastered the art of thinking on his feet and articulating those thoughts succinctly. No teleprompter for him.

The more Hillary's so-called campaign progresses, the more it looks to me like she doesn't really want the job. Same with her last attempt. The more she talks, the worse her poll numbers get.

Keep an eye on Walker..........................he's not much on attacking the other contender, he runs on his record of accomplishments, which may or may not be enough. Personally, I think he need to be a tad firmer.......or a turd farmer................or a furd tanner, or a ferd berfle, you know what I mean.............................................. ...............

+1 for Scott Walker.....I think "The Donald" is a clown who craves attention and loves to hear himself talk and if he continues in the race or runs as an independent will hand the election to the Hildabeast....I agree that the Republicans have let the voters down and not done what they said they would do after last Novembers elections and Trump is calling them out on it but if he really cares about the country he will shut up and and go back to what he does best and be a TV cartoon character.....Scott Walker is a true conservative and I think he will do what he says he will do and would make an excellent President....

You know I'm tired of the current joker-in-chief really bad and would like to hear what the Republicans have to say, but I cant bear to start now and listen for the next 14 months. I'll start listening in January. I'm in for Trump because he has actually ran something and says what he thinks. I liked Perot back in '92 also but his independence got us Billery and Monica.

Ya'll let me know how it goes.

              Get well Muggsy.

Goes for me too, I'm not gonna dial in this early. All a bunch of damn thieves anyhow if you ask me.

I just might throw my name in the hat too if I can come up with 500 bucks before the cut off date to sign up.

              My platform will be
              1. America is # 1 now and always.
              2. Take damn good care of our troops and don't send em no place we got no business going to and if we do go, go hard.
              3. Close the border. NOW!
              4. Time limits on welfare and public assistance.
              5. Restore the death penalty in all states. (and use it a lot)
              6. Take special care of old people except rich a$$holes like Jocko.
              7. Focus on getting rid of Pelosi and all of her kind.
I'll have to think up some more stuff before the debates I reckon.

I just hope they don't spend a lot of time just bashing the other party, I'll turn the channel. What I've seen so far, they waste a lot of time just complaining about the other people.

                          Republican Debate

Ted Cruz is the guy who sticks hardest to principles I believe in. Being in Washington hasn't softened him. And he gets the most visceral fear/hate reaction, reminiscent of how I remember they talked about Reagan before he was elected. But he has no administrative experience and Trump has taken his spotlight. There's a chance this debate will help him. I hope so.

                          Get well Muggsy!
                          Rest in peace Muggsy

Bawanna, With those agenda items I'd vote for you. I do think Trump supports most of those as well. I was reading some posts from DEMONcats on MSN's website actually saying they might vote for Trump. They are sick of Hitlery's lying and deceit and Bernie Sanders doesn't seem to resonate with them. Joe Biden?? LOL They feel Trump is not a bought and paid for politician who will cater to any big business. I think many of us feel that way too. Funny to read those comments on a liberal web site.

                            Get well soon Muggsy!!

sorry guys but politicians today are nothing but ass clowns performing kabuki theater. I might watch the debate on youtube if I cannot find a vintage episode of Simon and Simon I would rather watch instead.
