Not sure if I can stomach it either, there are other things I'd rather watch.

All that I got to say about this is that whom ever we elect had better understand the constitution, know right from wrong and who are enemies are. They should also know that this is a country of equal opportunity, but not necessarily outcome and that all lives matter including those of the unborn. Foremost they should know that we are a nation of laws and that no man is above the law. We'll only live in a representative republic for as long as we can keep it.

I was thinking today that if the Hildabeast was the dem nominee that Trump would get a landslide of democrat votes. He would probably get them anyway because he's a northerner.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I just watched the earlier debate with the Tier 2 candidates. Any one of them would be better than BO or HC or BS et al. Having said that ... I think Carli Fiorina did s fabulous job.

Trumps situation reminds me of that plick Jesse the Tool Venturas campaign. The two party candidates were so busy knocking each other down the tool snuck in and won an election. I would not be at all surprised to see that happen with Trump.

Most people being interviewed on local news were saying they were going to watch it just because of Trump, otherwise they probably wouldn't. "Presidential Apprentice", or "Apprentice President". People just want a show.

Totally agree, Rev. She did a great job.

Agree it was not a good night for the Donald. Liked most of the others including Cruz, Rubio, even Bush. Carson was a surprise- a low key persona may not appeal to everyone but I thought he was witty, different and very effective. Also saw the 5 pm undercard and really liked Fiorina.
                      Rest in peace Muggsy

He's talking about a 3rd party run. He better step out or he will divide the republican vote like perot did. It would almost guarantee a democratic win.....and that's to scary to even think about.

Donald Trumps comments regarding a independent party really bothered me. If your running as a Republican then you need to support the party. Not splinter off because you didn't win. I liked Carson's comments also, low keyed but very well presented, good timing. I liked Huckabee's joke about Hillary. Bush was almost like a fly on the wall, Scott Walker presented himself well, and I liked Chris Christie also, he acted like a leader dealing with Rand Paul, but I don't like his policies. Things just became more interesting now. The John Kasich was also a nice surprised, but I know nothing about him.

I couldn't watch Scott Walker without being reminded of Nicolas Cage with black hair. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But he didn't stand out much to me.

If I could wave a magic wand and make some of them drop out, I'd drop Christie, Jeb, Kasich, Rubio and Trump. I like Rubio, he's a fantastic speaker, but that's all he seems to be. Kasich just didn't stand out and seemed so old compared to the rest. Huckabee seemed old too, but I liked his performance and what he said.

Agreed.... Kasich was beginning to sound like a lifetime politician. Jeb was nervous in his delivery. I do not trust Christie. Carson and Huckabee were good. Problem is.... there were too many folks debating. The fact that there are a gazillion folks running for the nomination speaks volumes about how screwed up the Republican party is. This is going to be interesting....

Indeed it is going to be interesting and I encourage everyone to watch intently as the outcome really does matter...despite our general distrust of politicians. I was traveling last night and missed it so the debate is running on my I-pad right now. I suspect I'll watch it several times...

What I'm specifically looking for are candidates who actually answer the question and nail it. Those who twist every answer into their own commercial are probably going to drop from my list.

I'm half way in and so far the only one who seems to be blowing it is Rand Paul.

I'm gonna watch the second string debate too. I hear Carly knocked it out of the park.

                                Get well muggsy!
