Its a long way to nominations and even longer to election. The main question for me now is whether the Trump balloon is still inflating, or is air starting to leak out yet?

I'm sensing a bit of slowing down there, but it could be wishful thinking. The way things went in the first debate I thought he was toast, and couldn't have been more wrong. He certainly didn't change his style, in fact he doubled down on the "New York" by touching people in addition to insulting them. Fiorina is super tough and she got some verbal gut punches in. If she's standing next to him next time, there's going to be fireworks when he gets feely.

Post debate scientific polls should be coming out soon.
    Rest in peace Muggsy

We should have declared bankruptcy long ago, reorganized - slashed spending and cut dead wood - and emerged stronger than ever.

I agree 100%, look at GM, Chrysler, Macy's, Delta Airlines and a ton of other big companies that had to declare bankruptcy and many, many others had to finally quit doing business. Trump has bounced back and with his net worth, I'd say in a big way. The bankruptcy argument to me was meaningless, as was the comments about Fiorina with Lucent and HP. One thing that did surprise me was that more candidates didn't jump on Jeb's bandwagon and admit they had smoked pot too. Look at Christie, I can see him huddled in some frat house with a bottle of Jack and a 3 foot bong, like with Carl the groundskeeper.

Trump continues to miss the opportunity to explain bankruptcy. He only says he's never personally declared it, and doesn't go on to explain that the businesses he's owned have used it. There's a difference.

We've had none of that for 8 years. I can tolerate most anything else. About the only 2 that may meet my needs are Trump and Cruz. Everyone else I see is just a politician. The Republicans hate Trump because he doesn't play their game (Cruz fits that sometime too). You hear nothing from the Democrats about Trump because they're afraid of him because they know he can get democrat votes.

Just give me a real freedom loving leader and I won't complain. I'm done.

The votes were recounted counted three times and no matter how hard the democrats tried to screw him out of winning the election Bush always came out on top. Thank God that Lurch wasn't elected. And as to whether or not we should have gone to war with Iraq, when Saddam Hussein violated the terms of the cease fire agreement that ended the gulf war that action was tantamount to a declaration of war. Whether he had WMD or not Saddam Hussein failed to account for the destruction of the WMD that he had and he kicked the U.N. inspectors out of the country.

It didn't seem very organized to me. Lots of crosstalk, and candidates butting into others talks, and not shutting up when their time was up. I think the part about who to put on the 10 dollar bill was a big waste of time, as was what would they want their codename to be. I don't think anyone made any major gains.

Isn't that exactly what CNN wanted? Isn't that exactly the format and how they asked the questions was intended to result? I thought that was their intent so I didn't bother to watch it and from what I understand it is what they wanted and somewhat got. Imagine that...

I was amazed at the account of the actual inspection team calling someone at the UN because they were being held at gun point outside of one site. The UN did nothing and they were apparently held until the trucks had taken anything illegal off the site then allowed to enter and inspect mostly empty buildings.

Hans Blix and his team found illegal stuff, BUT what did he claim even after Iraq would not allow him to inspect buildings until they had had time to move stuff? He said that Iraq was complying with the UN resolution. Now I dunno about you, but to me what he claimed happened aint complying with the UN resolution and for him to claim that it was was a flat out lie in my opinion. Reminds me of President Clinton claiming that North Korea was in compliance with the agreement when in fact they were not and he knew it.

I am tired of being lied to again and again and I am tired of it from both parties. Either of them want MY vote they best shape up and tell me the cold hard truth and let me decide from there. I may stay home or I may vote for Bozo the clown but I wont vote for a politician I know damn well is telling me a lie.

Just seeing what people thought of the debate last night. I liked that they all told the moderators off.

Thank God they did tell them off, the mods were pathetic.

I was amazed Rubio came out with the line about the media being the Democrats' super PAC. I guess if you push some of these candidates hard enough or scratch them deep enough they're like us underneath.

Conservative Presidential candidates should only attend debates moderated by conservative moderators. Last nights a$$ kicking of those liberal moderators was long overdue!

Might have been what was needed; an occasion for the Rs, Cruz and several others too, to b!+ch slap the moderators. Bad night for Jeb! and personally I'm tired of Kasich's schtick, but I thought every one else came off pretty well.

Even though I'm as angry at the current Congress for doing next to nothing as anybody, I'm not so mad that I would vote for a loose cannon like Donald Trump and let him have his hand on the red launch button.....I respect what he has done in business but I don't believe he is what we need as POTUS
Getsome, were on the same page. My first choice is Cruz/Fiorina. I like Carly, but I want a male as CIC. Rubio is a close second, but a little on the young side. He could make a great VP, but Fiorina might draw more votes from women. Rand Paul isn't a conservative. He's a libertarian that supports legalizing recreational drugs. Christie believes that Global warming is real. Give me a break. I don't see that Bush has the fire in his belly. Carson is a good man but, too mild mannered. Kasich is a good governor, but he's not presidential material. Any of them would be better than Hillary.

If you stay home you'll allow the liberals to make the decision for you. Not a good plan in my opinion. That plan gave us Barack Obama.
