My only suggestion is to straighten up the line by the mag release and go ahead and stipple over the K emblem on the grip. Love the mag cut outs

Received my CM9 slide back from Mod1 today and love it! They added front serrations and Graphite Black Cerakote. I've also swapped the original striker spring with a 5# Wolff spring, put on the rubber Talon grips and dehorned the slide stop lever. I still plan to do a couple more things but so far so good!

all I did was thicken the grip with a slip on and install a flush fit mag base.

As a cheese grater hater, I tried a bike inner tube first and it was OK but never felt quite right. So I finally decided to dremel away the spikiness, and to grind down the pinky chopper on the mag base plate. It made a major difference in feel. No pinky abrasion, and if anything the grips make it even more fun to shoot than before. A .45 this small should be brutal, but it isn't!

I've got some Dawson Precision night sights coming in. Should have been here today, but wasn't... so tomorrow? Lets hope.

After they arrive I'm mailing my slide up state to get it carekoted graphite black and to have the sights installed. I've also cleaned up my stipling from the original images shown in post #1. I'll post photos once it's all said and done

I'm gonna assume you're slide will look look something like this when it's done

The PM9 is what my wife had done. Pic color is off. It's really a pretty burgundy color

I touched up the stippling a tad. This pistol is the first thing I've ever stippled so it's not perfect but it works for me:

Tomorrow I send the slide off to get cerakoted graphite black and to have the new Dawson Precision night sights I ordered installed. Can't wait to see it all said and done!

I sent my slide off to get cerakoted adn get some DP night sights installed...

Now just waiting for it to come back to me in the mail. FWIW, I think that is just dust seen ont eh slide and not part of the actual cerakote :P. The dude I sent it to does a lot of work and came highly recommended so I doubt it's anything other than dust. I'll find out next week when I install it!

Got the slide back today. Had it cerakoted black and night sights installed. Overall am quite happy with it. The crappy stippling was my job. Not the best looking job but it works.

Did the rear sight require slide modification? I love it.

Have you done any shooting with that stippling all up in the web of your hand?

Nah, it was ordered from Dawson Precision and was made for the CM9 http://www.dawsonprecision.com/

I have and it's not bad. I actually sanded it down a bit in the curve on the back of the grip so it doesn't eat at the area between my thumb and index finger and it's quite comfortable.
