For those of you living in the right kind of state, this will be no big deal ... but here in Connecticut, it was nice to walk into my LGS tonight and buy 9mm ammo as if it were no big deal. Actually, the LGS is not really local (it's about 22 mi away), but it was nice to be able to go for a ride with the top down just to see what the ammo situation was. My wife's off visiting some friends a few hundred miles away, which gave me the free time to go for a drive. Looking back on it, I should have bought the 12 boxes I was allowed so I could have some for my shooting buddies, but I didn't think of that until I was already on the way home.

What a way to start the day!
Took the dogs out for their morning stroll, most days we try to get an hour in before the sun comes up over the mountains. This morning was gorgeous, with it being just 73 degrees at 0500 (that's quite a treat for us this time of year
).
Starting to get enough light to see well.
