    I'm thinking not.

I could intercede for you, asI know those canadian women have a special place in their hearts for Harley riders. Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I've been accused of being an instigator more than once.

Tell her it's an investment. I think the 452 lux with the bent stock is not being made anymore and it will become a collectors item. Or tell her you see a big grip order coming up to pay for it.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I can appreciate that rifle. It shoots so accurate it's not even funny. Mini Mags at 50 yards put one ragged hole.

I think I paid about $400 for mine when I bought it.
Wow, that's a nice Lux. I paid about the same as you did for my Trainer (a little over that for my Ultra Lux)

There's talk that the whole 452 line will be discontinued in favor of the 455. The walnut stocked Lux is already gone (well except for the left hand version). The Trainer is pretty much a clone of the Lux except it has a beech stock. The wood on my Trainer is good by me, but my Ultra Lux (also beech) has some funky wide grain on one side.
          These really are fine rifles

I like the sights on the 452 that slides for the distance you're shooting. Mine was right on target with I think it was standard velocity ammo. Hypervelocity I think I had to adjust 25 yards. really cool amazing .22.

It's probably best that he not answer that as there's a 50% chance of getting a bad answer, and this is supposed to be a happy thread ... just saying.

I have had a CZ 22 lr trainer for about 10 years. Very plain wood on the stock and the European style hump back takes a bit to adjust to. The rifle shoot tiny groups at 50 yards that magnify your lack of ability not the rifles. Does like decent ammo of at least Rem Golden's level. Mags are a bit expensive but you only need a few extra. I was about $200 wholesale in those days. Welcome back Bawanna - good thread.

                    Thanks Salty.

I didn't think I was gonna be in much of a Positive mood for awhile, my wife got bucked off her horse Tuesday evening and I spent all night in 2 emergency rooms. Turns out she fractured her pelvis, but docs said it would heal on it's own. Ribs and everything else bruised and beat up, finally let us out about 7 the next morning and took forever to get her in a car and out at home.

BUT after sleeping most of the day yesterday and last night she's a 100% improved over yesterday. Still using a walker but taking regular steps and moving around at will without me as a spotter. I might have to go back to work tomorrow.
I sure enjoyed sleeping last night after being up all night and all day yesterday.
Not cut out for all nighters anymore I guess.

Before anyone ask, Jocko already offer a fair price for the Pinto. (He's still alive.) Pretty horse or he'd be headed for Iowa.
Figure she must not have put the saddle on right or something, he's not mean and never bucked before. Only had him a couple months but he's usually pretty mild mannered for being 7.

So life is indeed good. I'm gonna go whittle for the first time in about a month. Kind of cooled and clouded a bit today, perfect bench day.

Hmm, vinegar and white rum, I hadn't heard of that before. I checked and they didn't have white rum at the local 7-11, might be a liquor store item.

My biggest concern was checking with Wyn to see if a white or red wine would go best. I generally don't do fermented grapes, (bad experience in my youth with a bottle of Annie Greensprings, bed thought it was a helicopter blade for about 3 days, haven't done grapes since).

                          Thanks for the link Greg.

Thanks for the thoughts, she's doing a whole bunch better already, I thought it was gonna be a very long haul but she's darn near her old self, just a lot slower. Not even taking the good pain drugs prescribed. That's good! I might use those down the road sometime myself.

Close call between happy thread and sad thread. Stuff happens but sometimes it ends up ok. You've seen both sides of that and I'm glad this time it's happy.
