A handgun versus an armored rifleman is a losing proposition. The rifleman has the advantage of range, accuracy, firepower, and lethality.

The absolute best solution to a rifleman on a spree is to get the hell away from him. Or to pull the breakdown AR pistol from your sling pack and engage him from distance.

Not to say it's a bad idea really but I think perfecting the current stable is priority and they are gaining on it. Remember years ago there were lots more issues.

Throw an extra mag in your pocket and you got 5 or 6 or more rounds. I always carry an extra anyhow so no issue there.

Or carry a 45. Cause shooting twice is just silly.

I agree with you. There are lots of stories about poor quality pistols and bad customer service. Refining their current designs and streamlining production should be priority. I don't find it difficult to carry a CM9 and a spare magazine. That's plenty of rounds, and the weight is evenly distributed. It was not a very well finished pistol when i got it. Frame shavings, dirty, and a squeaky trigger. I did a trigger job and then put Flitz on the rails and the polymer tabs then racked it several hundred times over a few days. My old P9 was much better finished back in 2001.

I understand they now have an automated slide racking machine. Each pistol is cycled hundreds of times in the factory to mill parts in. That seems like an excellent way to eliminate the 200 round break-in recommendation, which seems to be unpopular with some people.
