    • They sure do feel great! Glad we left them without checkering.

You really do a knockout job. Quite a few people have ooh'd, ahh'd, and oogled over them on another couple forums. I directed them to your website. Hope you don't mind.

yep his stuff is top notch. Shark tank wouldnt get it. Handmade is something that they would never understand.

BTW I love the checkering. Takes away alittle of the beautiful grain look but makes up 190% on function. Wish I could open carry so people can oogle them.

        • Folks seem to like the diagonal half checkering. You get some good grip quality and still get some of the pretty wood grain.

I'm experimenting trying to come up with something so the grain stays nice in the checkered area.

I've found if you have a checkered or stippled front strap you can get away with a smooth grip pretty good.

Open carry would be nice with all the nice looking holsters and wood out there. shame you always gotta keep it under wraps.

Because it makes them feel pretty. and they're worth it.

A Ruger SR1911 with Bawanna Grips on it IWB would make me feel pretty.

Well Mr. Tinman, you work on the Ruger SR1911 (I'm actually seeing them around now, even a couple at the gun show) and I'll work on those grips. I do so want you to feel pretty, not in any mano-y-mano way you understand.

I keep going back and looking at Les's those look fine. Maybe he's a better photographer. I'm gonna get me some more of that wood, that's for sure someday.

I wouldn't know the first place to find this specialized stock you speak of, O Great One, but I could find a few spare pennies to toss into the BIWF jar.

I just finished these that I started quite a while back and realized they were officer size.

Still looking around my piles for something with a little more grain pattern.
