  • Great idea on the photo album! I love peanut butter too. He does have a website with a lot of his work on it too. Maybe he will share it?

Here's a link to the website. It's really and truly Melissa's website, it took me half an hour to find the address. I keep meaning to sit down and spend some time and basically do MY part. I have a lot more pictures to add and I hope to do that. Melissa adds pics all the time, I should pay her but what I have would be an insult to her talent.

It thrills me no end that you enjoy going back and looking here. I do from time to time myself to remember a timeline. I did this before that for so and so etc.

If you have to ask price your overestimating my billing department. We're one of the little people with no plan or hope to get rich.

I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
            "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
            "more stuff than you are"

            • Bawanna really should have a site to sell his work,
they are truly woks of art and he seems to have the 1911's covered pretty well. He could quit his job and do well, course then he would have to work. Just sayin

I am trying to get him to make me a setof burlwood pegs for my Harley engine guard. But so far he hasn't a clue WTF I am talking about. Alos have been wanting him to make me a Burlwood license bracket for my Harley to. This would look really cool. But I have since foundout he is under contract with Honder for the license plate thing.

              • B-man, I'm so digging that alfieza (sp?), it will be some time before I can get to it though. I'm about to move, towards the end of the month, and more like the middle.

                • I better order up some of it. Quite a few seem to like the looks of it.

Like to score a little capital so I can get several pieces of a variety.

I'm up to my ears in Black and White Ebony as we speak. Set of 629 grips. Revolvers are a pain in the back side to fit, I've spent all day so far just getting the inside to fit, just now getting to the outside shaping.

The steel Kahrs are a challenge too but I'll figure out a system to speed that up somehow.

Now I know why I like 1911's so much they are pretty easy if you get the holes in the right place.

Well you guys motivated me so I spent some time and finally added some words and added a bunch more pictures. I still have to sort out duplicates and I'm still searching for other pictures that I don't have on there.
Bless Miss Melissa for helping a poor dumb carpenter in the computer world. I'm gradually figuring out how to do stuff there but she's the real brains of the operation.

Take another look and let me know your thoughts.

                    • Dr. Grips,
I just put your Emporium on my Favorites list, too. It may be my computer screen, but some of the newest pics are quite as clear as the earlier batch. Sumpin' wrong on my end? I can tell there's some grips somewhere in there just callin' my name.... Thanks for taking the extra time to spoil us all more than we already are!

                      • No doubt the ones I added. Some are quite a bit older. I just looked at the little versions and they looked ok. I was gonna use a couple for the larger pictures but found them out of focus so it's not doubt me.

I'll have to address that when time allows.

My favorites I think are a 1911 set with the German Shorthair inlaid. One of the out of focus ones so couldn't use it on a big pic.

That Smith with the Army pin looks fine in there. Got lucky on a few.

Jlotts mesquite turned out good too.

                        • I'm digging my Mesquite grips. I went over there, and Kaspersky (work anti-everything) did not like the site. It said the site is used for phising and nothing good. So you know.

I don't get it. What's a Kaspersky and what the heck is phising? I totally agree with nothing good, at least they got that part right.

                            • Phishing is were people try to get your bank information and stuff like that. It's kinda like the wealthy Nigerian prince that needs you to send him money and deposit his check kind of a thing. Kaspersky is anti-virus, spam and stuff like that.

The grips look just fine to me, and that site is good for that.

I don't even know where Nigeria is, down south by yall someplace ain't it. I like the send him money idea though. I'll try to incorporate that into the gallery somehow. Maybe subliminal (jocko, that means in your head without you knowing it, kind of like coke messages in movies to make you thirsty?). messages to just have people send loot.

I think the Phishing is a little over my computer skill level, like maybe from here to the moon? Not good that Kaspersky obviously hates me and maybe some wont look cause of him but I like myself sometimes and that matters.
