This right here shows exactly what you KNOW about the ACA. NO ONE IS EXEMPT. The GOVT exchanges are not the end all be all of the ACA. EVERY SINGLE HEALTHCARE INSURANCE POLICY IN THE US IS COVERED UNDER THE ACA. You don't have ACA mandated insurance you get assessed a fine IF you have a FEDERAL INCOME TAX refund due. No ifs ands or buts.

Some people and businesses have gotten a TEMPORARY WAIVER but no one is EXEMPT.

Other wise all those people who HAD coverage would not have lost their COVERAGE due to the mandated coverage in the ACA.

Nevertheless, some authorities dispute that interpretation and believe credit for the Obama Phone program should go back even further to 1984 when Ronald Reagan was President, because it was then that the Federal Communications Commission created the original Lifeline Assistance program (technically, Lifeline Assistance is the official name of the Obama Phone program).

Oh. We have one phone in the house. We got it for free. It doesn't accept incoming calls. It can only dial out. It is used primarily to dial 911 should the need ever arise.

And we get our Internet from some satellite. A buddy of mine hooked up this old satellite dish somehow, it's about as big as one of those kiddy swimming pools. It's plain huge.

We don't pay a dime for the Internet. We just get it somehow.

They are exempt because they have coverage.

Their coverage is subsidized by their employers. And remember, WE are their employers. Us.

They pay, if i remember correctly, $8 a month for individual coverage and about $30 for family coverage. And the coverage is far better than anything that you or I could find under the ACA. And FAR less expensive too.

Do you find this shocking? Yes sir, we subsidize medical care for members of the House and Senate.

But you know, a lot of these people are public servants with very little money. They need our help.

Yeah I know who pays for their coverage. What I am saying is that they can keep their plan and their doctor no matter what. Many people cannot. They are exempt from ACA. I just wanted to make that clear.

We don't know where the signal even comes from. I think if it were a pay service they would identify themselves.

The number of stations is endless. We get Internet radio signals from all over the world. I know most foreign languages when I hear them but I hear languages coming down from this satellite that I have no idea what they are.

If the ol' NSA wants to come out here and look at this set-up, I'll welcome them. Maybe they can figure out where the signal comes from.

Hell, I'll feed them some nice venison steaks or maybe even my favorite, squirrel stew. Both go good with swamp greens.

How am I leeching on taxpayers? This signal falls right out of the sky onto our dish. I guess I got a right to have a dish and point it up at God's heaven. Far as I know, no one owns it. Yet.

I don't mind some good natured name calling, but calling a man a thief is serious business by those of us who live by the Green Swamp in Florida. I just can't take that lightly. It's a grievous insult to me and my whole family.

Well, I guess I'm about done with this. Most of what I wrote was a lot of exaggeration and some outright "make believe." And anyone here who has half a brain should have caught on to that pretty quickly.

But I did manage to sprinkle some truth in here and there.

Maybe the most important truth was that the wealthy, the REALLY wealthy do control the media. Even the so called left wing media is owned and controlled by the rich. Do you think MSNBC is owned and controlled by welfare recipients?

And the media really does distract us from a lot of important things. They really do keep us focused on each other. And by each other, I mean the "non-wealthy."

The super rich distract us from taking a good, honest look at this country's problems and the possible solutions to these problems.

They want us nervous and worried and fighting each other over our miniscule slices of the pie.

Here we are squabbling about people getting free cell phones and people who can't afford it MAYBE getting some help getting medical care.

If there's only one good thing about the AFA, it's that it at least has people thinking and talking about possible solutions to the problem of how many of the poor really have no access to health care except for walking into an emergency room for help. And that costs a lot of money. And yes, we pick up their tab.

Think about it, we have people here in this forum making $35,000 a year screaming about how fast food workers shouldn't make $10 an hour. Whats' the point?

The result is the "have a little bit of money" people tearing their hair out, screaming and begrudging the "have no money" people getting a little more.

Yes, there is something wrong here. I don't have the answer to these problems. But I know, if we don't take a good, long hard look at these problems and at least try to come up with some fixes, these problems will only get worse over time.

And if they get worse, God only knows what the result will be. It is true that the wealthy, the REALLY wealthy families in this country are getting wealthier by the day.

And it's true the poor are getting poorer by the day. So what does the government do? They cut food stamps.

I'll tell you this, if I were poor, terribly poor and could not feed my family, I might engage in some extra-legal activities in order to feed them.

And if I had nothing, I'd be a "moocher" too. And if this were the case, my mooching should be the least of your worries.
