That is the set you would actually be working on. I was thinking of just checkering on them, simple pattern that wouldn't completely hide the grain. Wanted to get some input before we would commit to it.

I'm your man. Looking at the picture I think the grain would show through checkering pretty good.

Kind of draw out the area you want checkered, kind of what you want it to look like and we'll get to checkering.
