      • G10 would be perfect for that style of grip. Nice and strong and durable. I played with a piece of G10 and didn't like working with it. I don't know how they do what they do with it, I sure wasn't able to come close.

        • Here's a set fresh off the press this morning up for grabs and looking for a home.

I see a few things in the photo's I didn't see working that I will go back and address.
This is Wenge wood with a linseed oil finish and the Armor of God pin inlaid in each side.

The previous set with the birdseye maple strip are also up for grabs.

Wow, uncle B, these are calling me. Great job again, and Biblical to boot! Now all I need is a 1911 and I'm set.

              • I'm working a set now in Micarta, actually been playing with this set for quite awhile. I''ve posted pics before but I was never happy with them so I'm revisiting them as we speak.

I don't have a source for micarta but I'm sure it's out there.

                • Homeless grips for February

Here's a group shot of some grips I have available that aren't spoken for. If anything blows anybodies dress up let me know and we'll talk about it.

I don't have any set prices so everything is negotiable. Need more stabilized wood so trying to get a little back into the piggy bank.

1 and 5 are Zebra wood. 5 has an ebony inlay.
2 is ebony with a I believe pewter inlay.
3 is Wenge with the Armor of God pin inlaid, posted earlier.
4 is Stabilized Box Elder Burl with no dye with an Ebony inlay.
6 and 7 are Coco Bolo and fit Officers size 1911's.
8 is a set for a Beretta 92FS, will also fit 96's. Its Epay, or Iron wood. Made awhile back, I'm gonna go over them so they are fresh.
I neglected to add it but that set of Wenge with the Birdseye Maple strip down the middle is also available.

                  Enjoy.

                  • very nice, actually they took my breath away. What kind of a gun do they go on sir??? They all look the same type, must be some really popular gun-huh. Just sayin.

                      • Got a package in the mail today, what could it be?

Hmmm, some reading material, and what's this wrapped up?

Some Bawanna grips. Set number 6 arrived.

Lets try these on. Off with the old, on with the new. Very nice.

They fit good. Thin and natural point of aim is right on target. Good work there Bawanna.

                              • Beautiful! Like so many of Bawanna's grips, those look stunning and especially compliment that pistol.

I have only seen one other set of his grips that I like better.

And, Bawanna knows the set I am thinking of.
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
